Privacy Policy

Payoff My Cards ("we," "this site," "us") provides free, browser-based credit card payoff calculators. This policy explains what happens with information when you use the site.

1. Information you enter into the calculators

Card names, balances, interest rates, and payment amounts you type into any calculator on this site are processed entirely inside your own browser. That data is never transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by any server we operate. Closing or refreshing the page clears it permanently. We do not offer accounts, logins, or saved sessions, so there is nothing tied to your identity for us to lose, sell, or be compelled to disclose.

2. Automatically collected information

Like most websites, this site may use standard analytics and advertising technology that automatically collects information such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site. This is used in aggregate to understand traffic patterns and is never linked to the financial figures you type into a calculator, since that data never leaves your browser in the first place.

3. Advertising and cookies

This site is, or may in the future be, supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Depending on your location, we display a cookie consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set, in line with Google's EU/UK/Switzerland user consent requirements.

You can review and adjust how Google personalizes ads for you at Google's Ad Settings page, and learn more about how Google uses data from partner sites at Google's Partner Sites policy.

4. Your privacy rights

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because this site does not collect or store the financial data you enter, and does not require an account, there is minimal personal information for us to hold. To the extent advertising cookies constitute a "sale" or "share" under California law, you can opt out via the cookie consent tool on this site or via your browser's Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor.

EU/UK/EEA residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability and to object to processing. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights. Our lawful basis for any cookie-based advertising is your consent, collected via the cookie banner on first visit.

5. Third-party links

This site may link to third-party resources (for example, nonprofit credit counseling organizations). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate.

6. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in law or our practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

8. Contact
